In clinical trials, electronic methods of data capture have become standard tools. From outcomes data collection to informed consent, sponsors build electronic data capture methods into trial designs, but may not fully account for older adult users’ challenges.This article summarizes Signant’s research which suggests that older adults actually prefer to use technology, and will embrace devices willingly with appropriate training and guidance.
