Signant Health’s eCOA solution played an important role in a global pharmaceutical company’s infectious disease study by facilitating the remote collection of stool specimens on an ad hoc basis from patients at home, reducing the need for unscheduled site visits.

Our eCOA app made it easy to integrate sample collection with other workflows like patient diary submissions, and provided courier integrations as well as sample collection reminders and instructions. Plus, courier activity was coordinated such that couriers could provide replacement kits while picking up samples from the patient’s home, ensuring that patients always had an available kit on hand.
